Sunday School

Sunday School – 9:40am – 10:30am

We offer a variety of classes to match the diversity of our congregation. Typically, classes have been divided by age, but our main concern is to match individuals with a class where you feel welcome and connected.

Nursery Class

This class is for 2 & 3 year olds and meets in a basement classroom at the far east end of the building (B1). Children will learn about the love of Jesus, play games, make crafts, and sing songs.

Pre-School / Kindergarten Class

This class is for 4 & 5 year olds and meets in the basement classroom next to the Nursery Class (B2). Children in this class will learn Bible stories, do interactive activities to help them understand the stories of Jesus, and do art that expresses what they are learning.

All of our Sunday School Classes for Elementary age students follow the Gospel Light curriculum, and focus on learning Bible stories, building friendships, and creating a space for children to experience the love of Christ. Classrooms are listed below:

God Squad (7&8)

Basement B11, located at the far West end of the basement through our Fellowship Hall.

God Squad is studying apologetics through the Answers in Genesis material and HS is going through an overview study of the whole Bible as narrative. This study is derived from the book called “The Story.”

High School (9-12)

Basement B3, located across the hall from the Nursery class at the East end of the basement.

GAP

Main Floor 108, this class is primarily comprised of those in their late teens and early twenties. This group organizes our all-church breakfast each month.

Young Adults

Second Floor 209, this class was organized to meet the needs of several young married couples in our church. It has diversified since its beginning and now consists of mainly persons in their 20’s and 30’s.

Adults

Our Adult Sunday School Classes offer a variety of curriculum options. Each has oversight through our Christian Education Board, but each chooses their own study. Some use traditional curriculum, some will organize a book study, etc. Most have typically been targeted to meet the needs of different generations, but anyone is welcome to attend whichever class they choose.

Outreach

Second Floor 207, contrary to its name, our Outreach class studies more than just evangelism. A variety of topics are studied and discussed in a group consisting of a variety of generations from 30’s to 50’s.

Salt & Light

Basement B4, located next to our High School Youth room, this class is also a mixed group of men and women ranging from 30’s to 50’s.

BYKOTA

Second Floor 204, this adult class serves primarily those between 50 and 70.

Circle of Friends

Main Floor 102, a mixed class of adults in their 40’s and 50’s.

Upper Room

Main Floor 103, located in the room at the back of our sanctuary, this class serves many of our senior women.

Enablers

Main Floor 104, this class is very similar to the Upper Room class, but ministers to our senior men.
