Friendship Circle is a service organization of the Bethel Mennonite Church. It meets the third Tuesday of the months of September through March with the exception of December when we have our Christmas dinner. We meet from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a business meeting at 11:00 a.m. We tie comforters, collect and process School, Health, Newborn, Sewing and Relief Kits and take them to the North Newton Relief Center. There is also quilting available for those who enjoy quilting. Friendship Circle is a member the Mennonite Women USA Women in Mission organizations. There is no age limit and all ladies of the church are invited to attend.
The men of our church are always willing to help and serve. With several opportunities to engage, learn, grow, and serve every year; now is the perfect time to get involved with our Men’s Ministry!
Senior Adult Ministry
Senior adults are interested in growing to mature Christian faith. They enjoy gathering for inspiration, information and fellowship at regular “Faith, Friends and Faspa” meetings on Sunday afternoons. They also enjoy outings that include service and learning. Three senior adult Sunday School classes meet weekly for Bible study, reflection and discussion. Bethel is blessed with around 100 adults over age 65.
Children are a major part of our congregation and we love trying to find ways to keep our energetic young people engaged with Jesus!
Our Wednesday Night activities for youth are available for all from Kindergarten through High School. Evening activities run from 6:15 – 7:45pm! Wednesday Night activities are offered from September through April.
Our Junior High Youth meet together for study and fellowship.
Our High School Youth (BMY) meet to grow in their faith and grow in healthy relationships with God and with each other. Our High Schoolers take a Summer Mission Trip every year.
